4 IAS, 1 IPS get inter cadre deputation; 1 IAS gets 2 years of extension of inter cadre deputation

THE government on Monday accorded its nod for inter cadre deputation or extension of inter cadre deputation to at least five IAS and one IPS officers. The reasons of the inter cadre deputation have varied from “personal grounds” to “personal hardship”. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has okayed each of the order released by the DoPT. Here below are the details of six such orders:

IAS officer Jitendra Gupta seeks cadre change from Bihar on grounds of “threat to life and property”; DoPT seeks IB report

AFTER 2013 batch IAS officer Dr Jitendra Gupta sought cadre change from Bihar to Haryana on the grounds of extreme hardship including “threat to life and property”, a committee headed by union personnel secretary has decided to seek a report from the Intelligence Bureau (IB) regarding such threats before taking a call on the proposal, according to the minutes of the meeting held on May 1.
