Action and Appointments: IFS Ajay Bisaria as India's high commissioner to Pak; IAS Manoj Ahuja as LBSNAA joint director

MANOJ Ahuja, 1990 batch Odisha cadre IAS, will be a new Joint Director (JS level) at Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie in place of Tejveer Singh, 1994 batch Punjab cadre IAS, for a period of five years. His major postings include district magistrate in Khurda district, chief electoral officer in the state, a private secretary in tiger erstwhile Planning Commission, Commissioner in Odisha’s commercial tax department and executive director of Bhubaneswar-based Center For Modernizing Government Initiative (CMGI). CMGI, according to its official site, acts as a think-tank and helps translate government goals, objectives and policy priorities into tangible reform actions in the areas of governance.
Meanwhile, inter-cadre deputation of 2010 batch Tamil Nadu cadre IAS Shankar Lal Kumawat, has been extended from Tamil Nadu cadre to Rajasthan cadre for a further period of two years with effect from November 19, 2017. Kumawat, 37, hails from Rajasthan. According to the government records, he did his graduation in biology before shifting to humanities, and becoming a post-graduate in history from Rajasthan University. 
Then there have been two more developments. First, Ajay Bisaria, a 1987 batch Indian Foreign Service officer, presently acting as Ambassador of India to Poland, has been appointed as the next high commissioner of India to Pakistan. Then, Nasir Kamal, a 1986 batch UP cadre IPS, has been appointed as Additional Director General, Border Security Force for a period of four years.
