Railway accounts officer Adithya Joshi’s term in CVC extended; 2004 batch IAS BVRC Purushotttam prematurely repatriated from revenue dept


Adithya Joshi, 1995 batch Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS) officer, presently serving as director in the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), has been given extension for three months till May 6, 2019. personal reasons. “He may be relieved of his duties immediately with direction to report to his parent cadre", an order issued on January 11, said.
Meanwhile, PN Sukul, 1982 batch Indian Defence Accounts Service officer, has been appointed as officer on special duty (OSD) in National Commission for Minorities in the rank and pay of additional secretary, Government of India, with immediate effect. Sukul will take over secretary, NCM, when incumbent J Rama Krishna Rao, 1985 batch Bihar cadre IAS, retires in the end of February. 
In another development, Jaideep Govind, a 1984 batch Madhya Pradesh cadre IAS, has been appointed as special secretary in National Human Right Commission (NHRC). 
Also, the government has given additional charge of the post of secretary, department of animal husbandry, dairying, and fisheries to Sanjay Agarwal, 1984 batch Uttar Pradesh cadre IAS, between January 14 and 20 when incumbent incumbent Tarun Shridhar, a 1984 batch Himachal Pradesh cadre IAS, is on leave.
