PMO’s Shrikar Keshav Pardeshi elevated as JS; IAS Dinesh Arora is new Dy CEO of National Health Agency


Dr Shrikar Keshav Pardeshi, 2001 batch Maharashtra cadre IAS and present director in Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has been elevated as the joint secretary in the PMO. Pardeshi will be in the PMO till April 9, 2020, according to a DoPT order issued on August 1. Originally belonging to Maharashtra, he did his masters in preventive and social medicine before cracking IAS in 2001. He was allotted the home cadre. He has been in the PMO since...
June 2015. Earlier in the state, he served as the municipal commissioner in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation and also worked as collector and DM in the districts of Akola and Nanded.
Meanwhile, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet on Wednesday approved the proposal for premature repatriation of Chetan B Sanghi, 1988 batch AGMUT cadre lAS and present joint secretary in the ministry of women and child development to his parent cadre, without imposing the extended cooling-off condition. 
In another development, Dr Dinesh Arora, 2002 batch Kerala cadre IAS and director in Ayushman Bharat, has been appointed as Deputy Chief Executive Officer in National Health Agency under the ministry of health and family welfare. Arora’s central deputation tenure has been extended by one more year beyond July 24, 2018, which means, he will be away from the cadre for eight years. 
Also, Prabhakar Singh has been appointed as Director General in Central Public Works Department on reemployment basis for one year beyond July 31, 2018, the date he retired.
