In another development, the competent authority has approved assignment of additional charge of the post of secretary, department of higher education to Anil Swarup, 1981 batch Uttar Pradesh cadre lAS who is the secretary of the department of school education and literacy with effect from May 14, 2018 to May 20, 2018 during the period on leave of incumbent R Subrahmanyam, 1985 batch Andhra Pradesh cadre IAS.
Meanwhile, Maneesh Chauhan, a 2000 batch Uttar Pradesh cadre IAS officer, has been prematurely repatriated from Rajasthan cadre to Uttar Pradesh cadre, before the completion of the his inter-cadre deputation tenure on personal grounds. The decision was taken after the concurrence of the governments of Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh was taken.
