Madhya Pradesh and was allotted home cadre. Prathamesh Kumar, 25, belongs to Delhi. Kumar secured the 23rd rank in civil services examinations 2015. Sarneet Kaur Broca secured All India Rank of 39 with chemistry as her optional subject.
The transfer order dated August 7 read as follows: “In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (2) of Rule 5 of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954 and with the concurrence of the State Governments of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh, the Central Government hereby transfers Ms. Sarneet Kaur Broca, IAS (MP:2016) from Madhya Pradesh cadre to Uttar Pradesh cadre on grounds of marriage to Mr. Prathamesh Kumar, IAS (UP:2016).”
In another development, the government has accorded its nod for inter-cadre deputation of Sanjay Goyal, 2004 batch Assam cadre IAS from Assam-Meghalaya cadre to Uttar Pradesh cadre for a period of three years on “personal grounds”.
