IRS-IT officer Sangeeta Godbole appointed DG in Services Export Promotion Council; Rani Kumudini is NFDB's new CEO

Sangeeta Godbole, 1989 batch IRS-IT officer has been appointed as director general of Services Export Promotion Council (SEPC) on a deputation basis for three years. SEPC, which gives direction and guidance to services sector, comes under the ministry of commerce and industries. It's an export promotion council, as listed by Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT). According to government data, services exports have recorded...
seven-fold rise in 10 years -- from USD 20 billion in 2002-03 to USD 142 billion in 2011-12.
Also, Ms I Rani Kumudini, 1988 batch Telangana cadre IAS, has been appointed as Chief Executive of National Fisheries Development Board (NFDB) on a deputation basis till April 24, 2020. Telugu-speaking Kumudini originally hails from Andhra Pradesh. She had completed MA in economics before getting into IAS. She is currently a joint secretary in the department of agriculture, corporation and farmers welfare. Between 2005 and 2009, she had a foreign posting at Ivory Coast's economic capital Abidjan, as she worked there as a project manager in International Labour Organization (ILO). 
Meanwhile, director (technical) of Eastern Coalfields Ltd has been appointed as chairman and managing director (CMD) of Eastern Coalfields Ltd.
