THE government on Monday undertook another major administrative reshuffle at the joint secretary level, the key highlight being the appointment of an IRS-IT officer in the ministry of department and an IRAS (Indian Railway Accounts Service) officer in the ministry of road transport and highways. Another IRS-IT officer Pankaj Kumar Mishra has been appointed as Director, Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU-Ind), a post often occupied by IAS officers. The appointments also include in other key ministries/departments like petroleum and expenditure. Here are the details of the latest round of JS reshuffle at the Centre involving 15 officers:
1. Rajiv Ranjan, 1989 batch Madhya Pradesh cadre IAS, has been appointed as joint secretary in the department of expenditure.
2. Amar Nath, 1994 batch UT cadre IAS, has been appointed as joint secretary in the ministry of petroleum.
3. Anandarajan V, 1988 batch IRS-IT officer, has been appointed as joint secretary in department of defence.
4. 1986 batch IRAS officer Ms Dakshita Das has been appointed as joint secretary in the ministry of road transport and highways.
5. AV Patil, 1998 batch Tamil Nadu cadre IAS, now director in department of financial services, has been elevated as joint secretary in the same department.
6. Pankaj Kumar Mishra, 1989 batch IRS-IT officer, has been appointed as Director, Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU-Ind).
7. 1987 batch Himachal Pradesh cadre IAS Ram Subhag Singh, currently MD in NAFED, has been appointed as DDG in UIDAI, Chandigarh.
8. Sanjay Ambadas Chahande, 1988 batch Maharashtra cadre IAS, has been appointed as Deputy DG in UIDAI, Mumbai.
9. Ms Vandana Gupta, 1990 batch IP and TA and PS officer, has been appointed as joint secretary in National Commission for Women (NCW).
10. Ms Sonia Sethi, 1994 batch Maharashtra cadre IAS, now JS in culture ministry, has been shifted to Additional DGFT, Mumbai.
11. Ms Vasundhara Sinha, 1988 batch IRS-IT officer, has been appointed as Additional DGFT, New Delhi.
12. Ms Maushumi Rudra, 1992 batch IDAS officer, has been appointed as financial adviser in National Intelligence Grid (NATGRID).
13. PN Ranjit Kumar, 1993 batch Indian Postal Service officer, has been appointed as joint secretary in the ministry of AYUSH.
14. Director in defense ministry and 1989 batch Odisha cadre Indian Forest Service officer Sanjiv Kumar Chadha has been appointed as MD in NAFED.
15. Subir Mallick, 1989 batch Indian Audit and Accounts Service officer, has been appointed as additional FA and JS in ministry of defence (finance)
