2 premature repatriations including one of home minister’s PS; also 1 extension, 1 additional charge

A DAY before the Diwali, the Central government issued a number of orders including two premature repatriations, one extension of Central deputation tenure and bestowing of additional charge of the post of a Union secretary. The one of the repatriations was that of the private secretary of union home minister Rajnath Singh. Here below are the details of the 4 orders:
1. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) on Wednesday approved the ministry of home affairs’ proposal for premature repatriation of Nitesh Kumar Jha, a 2002 batch Uttarakhand cadre IAS and private secretary of union home minister Rajnath Singh. The order mentioned that the premature repatriation was on the account of availing the benefit of promotion in his home cadre. 
2. Vikas Arya, 1993 batch Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers officer and director in the department of health and family welfare, has been prematurely repatriated to his home cadre for availing the benefits of promotion. “He may kindly be relieved of his duties immediately to report to his parent cadre”, the order said. 
3. Yudhvir Singh Malik, 1983 batch Haryana cadre IAS and the secretary in the ministry of road transport and highways, has been given additional charge of the post of shipping secretary with immediate effect and till assumption of charge of the post by Gopal Krishna, his batchmate belonging to the West Bengal cadre.
4. The Central deputation tenure of MK Gupta, 1991 batch Indian Telecom Service officer and director in the department of public enterprises (DPE), has been extended for three months upto February 21, 2018 or until further orders.
