  1. Only two from Rajasthan in list of 73, and that too in secretary equivalent..
There should be a spread. Once an officer reaches joint secy, he or she is good enough for secretary which should be a selection post.
Don't marry person to post, marry post to the person.

  2. Only five women in the 73..so much for women empowerment. Wonder how many are scheduled or tribe..There goes the positive affirmation policy

  3. BUREAUCRATIC BUNGLINGS BY THE
SO-CALLED ELITE SERVICE IN PROMOTIONS AT TOP ECHELONS HAS BEEN A STIGMA ON SUCCESSIVE GOVERNMENTS.

THE MANIPULATION IN DECISION MAKING HAS BEEN CONTINUOUSLY INCREASING WITH ALL TOP POSTS CORNERED BY THE IAS BIRADRI.

SUCCESSIVE PRIME MINISTERS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN IN THE LOOP, NEVER
    OBLIVIOUS OF THE GOINGS-ON.

CREATION OF SECRETARY-LEVEL POSTS, IS A PLOY TO ACCOMMODATE THE ENTIRE BATCH OF IAS OFFICERS ,IRRESPECTIVE OF MERIT CRITERIA.

    POLITICAL CONNECTIONS COME IN HANDY.
    MAI BAAP CULTURE.
