DoPT gets two new directors— Rajul Bhatt, Shri Prakash Dubey

TWO officers — 2000 batch Indian Postal Service (IPoS) officer Ms Rajul Bhatt and 2001 batch IRS-IT Shri Prakash Dubey—have been appointed as directors in the department of personnel and training (DoPT), Government of India. Ms Bhatt, 40, was a…
director (PMU) at the postal department. Her new post will be a Central Staffing one. “She may kindly be relieved of her duties immediately with instructions to take up her new assignment in D/O of Personnel and Training”, an office memorandum issued by DoPT on Tuesday said.
The other officer who was also appointed on Tuesday as a director in DoPT was Shri Prakash Dubey, a 2001 batch IRS-IT officer. Shri is his first name, and not a prefix. Dubey was additional director (faculty) and course director of 69th batch of Indian Revenue Service at National Academy of Direct Taxes, Nagpur. A product of St Xavier's College under the University of Calcutta, Dubey completed his B.Com honous before getting into civil service. Even as an IRT-IT officer, he had worked in West Bengal, apart from serving in Mumbai and Gujarat regions. In the income-tax department, he handled various tasks including assessment charges, judicial charges, central charge, investigation and ITAT etc. Dubey has keen interests in sports.
