ACC approves appointment of 11 officers; 3 new officers appointed in National Mission for Clean Ganga

DAYS after re-designating 1985 batch Odisha cadre IAS UP Singh as Director General in National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) with retrospective effect, the government on Wednesday appointed three new officers for the posts of executive director (finance), executive director (admin) and deputy Director General of NMCG, giving a clear signal that cleaning Ganga will get a boost  in the coming years. Also, Srivatsa Krishna, a 1994 batch Karnataka cadre IAS, has been appointed as secretary in Coffee Board for two years. Here is the full list of 11 new appointments:
1. Rozy Agarwal, 1994 batch IDAS officer, has been appointed as executive director (finance), National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) under the ministry of water resources, river development and Ganga rejuvenation.
2. Rajiv Kishore, 1988 batch IRPS, has been appointed as executive director (admin) in National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) under the ministry of water resources, river development and Ganga rejuvenation.
3. CV Dharma Rao, a Central Secretariat Service officer, has been appointed as executive director/DDG, National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) under the ministry of water resources, river development and Ganga rejuvenation.
4. Ajay Kumar Lal, 1987 batch Himachal Pradesh cadre IFoS, has been appointed as joint secretary and mission director in National Mission for Justice Delivery and Legal Reforms (NMJDLR) under the department of justice in place of AK Gulati, 1984 batch IRPS.
5. Ms Shubha Thakur, a CSS officer, has been appointed as joint director general (JS level) in  Directorate General of Civil Aviation under the ministry of civil aviation.
6. Pradip K Tripathi, 1987 batch Jammu and Kashmir cadre IAS, has been appointed as joint secretary in the ministry of new and renewable energy in place of Tarun Kapoor, 1987 batch Himachal Pradesh cadre IAS.
7. Srivatsa Krishna, 1994 batch Karnataka cadre IAS, has been appointed as secretary, Coffee Board under the department of commerce for a period of 2 years by initially upgrading the post at JS level (Non­-CSS ) for a period of 2 years.
8. T Venkatesh, 1988 batch UP cadre IAS, has been appointed as executive director in Tobacco Board under the department of commerce for a period of 2 years.
9. Arnab Roy, 1991 batch West Bengal cadre IAS, has been appointed as deputy chairman, Tea Board, under the department of commerce for a period of 2 years.
10. A Ajith Kumar, 1994 batch Kerala cadre IAS, has been appointed as executive director in Rubber Board under the department of commerce (by curtailing his tenure as chairman, Rubber Board) from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a period up to his superannuation on May 31, 2018 or until orders, whichever is  earlier by initially upgrading the post at JS level (Non-CSS) for a period of 2 years.
11. Rupak Kumar Dutta, 1981 batch Karnataka cadre IPS and Special Director in CBI, has been appointed as special secretary in the ministry of home affairs (MHA) up to the date of his superannuation on October 31, 2017 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
