Mega JS Reshuffle: 13 new appointments including lateral shift at joint secretary level; Full List

IN YET another late night administrative reshuffle, the Central government on Monday announced the appointment and lateral shift of as many as 13 officers, all at the rank of joint secretaries, Government of India. Five out of 13 new JS are women. In one instance, an IPS officer RP Meena will now replace IAS, Maninder Singh, as joint secretary in the department of health research. Full list of the reshuffle here:

1. Rajiv Aggarwal, 1993 batch Uttar Pradesh cadre IAS, has been appointed as joint secretary in the department of industrial policy and promotion (DIPP) in place of DV Prasad,1984 batch IAS who has been elevated as additional secretary in the ministry of woman and child development.
2. Ms K Damayanti, 1993 batch Andhra Pradesh cadre IAS, has been appointed as joint secretary in the department of ex-servicemen welfare in place of Ms AS Laksmi, 1987 batch Indian Audit and Accounts Service officer who has been prematurely repatriated to her parent cadre.
3. Rajiv Ranjan Mishra, 1987 batch Andhra Pradesh cadre IAS officer, now joint secretary in the ministry of water resources, river development, Ganga rejuvenation, has been appointed as joint secretary in department of housing and poverty alleviation (HUPA) in place of 1985 batch Andhra Pradesh cadre IAS Dr Sameer Sharma.
4. B Rajendar, 1995 batch Bihar cadre IAS officer, has been appointed as joint secretary in the ministry of water resources, river development and Ganga rejuvenation in place of TVSN Prasad, 1988 batch Haryana cadre IAS, who has been laterally shifted as joint secretary and mission director of National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG).
5. S Ramaswamy, 1986 batch Uttarakhand cadre IAS, has been appointed as joint secretary in the ministry of Development of North East Region (DoNER) in place of K Damayanti, a 1993 batch Andhra Pradesh cadre IAS.
6. Ms Manisha Prasad Panwar, 1990 batch Uttarakhand cadre IAS officer, has been appointed as joint secretary in the department of health and family welfare in place of SK Nayak, 1988 batch Jammu and Kashmir cadre IAS officer.
7. Dr Rajesh Kumar, 1988 batch Manipur-Tripura cadre IAS, has been appointed as joint secretary in the ministry of woman and child development in place of Manisha Prasad Panwar, 1990 batch Uttarakhand cadre IAS, now appointed as joint secretary in department of health and family welfare.
8. RP Meena, 1993 batch Assam cadre IPS, now director in the department of health and family welfare, has been appointed as joint secretary in the department of health research in place of Maninder Singh, 1989 batch Assam cadre IAS officer on his inter-cadre deputation.
9. Ms Gargi Kaul, 1984 batch Indian Audit and Accounts Service officer, has been appointed as joint secretary and financial advisor in the ministry of civil aviation M Sathiyavathy, a 1982 batch UT cadre IAS who was earlier appointed as Director general, DGCA.
10. Madhukar Gupta,1985 batch Rajasthan cadre IAS, has been appointed as joint secretary in the department of public enterprise (DPE) in place of Ashok Pawadia, 1981 batch IRTS, who has been appointed as advisor in the inter state council secretariat.
11. Ms Ishita Roy, 1991 batch Kerala cadre IAS officer, presently member secretary in Central Silk Board, has been appointed as joint secretary in the department of higher education in place of Praveen Prakash, 1994 batch Andhra Pradesh cadre IAS who was laterally shifted to ministry of urban development.
12. Ms Debashri Mukherjee, 1991 batch UT cadre IAS, has been appointed as joint secretary in the department of personnel and training (DoPT) in place of M Devaraj, 1996 batch IAS who was laterally shifted to cabinet secretariat.
13. TVSN Prasad, 1988 batch Haryana cadre IAS, now joint secretary in ministry of water resources, river development and Ganga rejuvenation has been appointed as joint secretary and mission director of National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) in the ministry of water resources, river development, Ganga rejuvenation in place of Rajiv Ranjan Mishra, 1987 batch IAS, who was laterally shifted to ministry of housing and  urban poverty alleviation (HUPA).
