Rajasthan Electronics and Instruments Limited (REIL), on the other hand, is a joint venture between the government of India and the government of Rajasthan. A known name in the electronics industry of Rajasthan, it has a Mini Ratna status. The third PSU where Chaturvedi will act as the CVO is Hindustan Salts Limited (HSL), the Central government public sector undertaking engaged in the manufacture of salt. And finally, Sambhar Salts Limited, Jaipur (SSL) is a subsidiary of Hindustan Salts Limited.
In another appointment, 2000 batch officer of Indian Ordnance Factories Service Ms Rashmi Sinha, presently working as deputy secretary in UPSC, has been appointed as deputy secretary in Central Vigilance Commission on a lateral basis.

  1. Only officers who are flexible, willing to crawl when asked to bend are much in demand. It seems there is shortage of such this kind of officers. Thus one officer holding 4 posts of CVO. In Govt those officers who taking stand are not required they are working against sidelined posts. Very unfortunate situation.

  2. Congrats ! a feather in the cap of a railway officer. railway trains and prepares its officers for all kind of eventualities. The canvas is so large.
