Project Director (joint secretary level) at Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University (RGNAU), there has been no applicant, forcing the government to write to secretaries of the government of India as well as state chief secretaries to nominate officers empanelled to hold joint secretary level posts at the Centre. The letter dated November 22, 2013, has given one more month for the authorities to send the names of eligible officers. 
According to the original circular dated October 3, 2013, the officer must have experiences in dealing with higher education administration, setting up of projects involving constructions, service matters and matters relating to aviation sector. “However, since no response has been received from the eligible officers, it has been decided to once again circulate the post of Project Director (Joint Secretary Level), Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University (RGNAU) under the Ministry of Civil Aviation on deputation basis,” the November 22 letter signed by DoPT director M Devaraj said.
The selected officer will need to monitor execution of the construction work on NAU, apart from being the custodian of the implementation plan and co-ordinator with Airports Authority of India,  Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi (IGRUA) and ministry of civil aviation etc.
