IN A major reshuffle of bureaucrats in Chhattisgarh, Naxal-hit Bastar districts — Bastar, Narayanpur and Sukma— will get new district collectors. 2010 batch IAS Jai Prakash Maurya is appointed as the new Sukma collector whereas Topeshwar Verma will be new collector of Narayanpur district. Meanwhile, Mukesh Kumar, 2005 batch IAS and current collector of Rajnandgaon district, has been appointed as joint secretary to the Chief Minister's Office.
