22 JS vacancies at Centre; 4 in Election Commission of India

THE government has made public the list of vacancy of the joint secretary level officers that will arise till March, 2016. Significantly, four of those 22 vacancies will be in the Election Commission of India, a body gearing up for elections in four states --West Bengal, Assam, Tamil Nadu and Kerala, the process of which may kickstart in the next couple of years. The other departments which will have JS level vacancies include defence, home. commerce etc. Here is the list of 22 JS vacancies till March, 2016:

  2. Now, some direct recruit of any service who is sidelined by the state govt will vie for these posts spoiling the environment and administration at the center.
