The Central Civil Services Cultural and Sports Board is a society registered under Society Act 1860, and it's the nodal agency for promotion of sports and cultural activities among Central government employees. It is a part of the department of personnel and training (DoPT), Government of India. The board organizes a number of sports tournaments such as kabbadi, wrestling, swimming, chess, basketball, lawn tennis, badminton etc. And only the civil servants can participate in these tournaments.
The board also organises music, dance and short play competitions for civil servants.
