Wife of a senior IPS accuses a young IAS officer of dowry demand

engaged with him. Bhopal’s additional Director General of Police Swarna Singh's wife Manjeet Kaur complained that the IAS officer was gifted with a car and some money during the engagement ceremony, but the-would-be groom started demanding more money. The officer was booked under section 3/4 of Dowry Act.
Hailing from Punjab, Harjinder Singh was a mechanical engineer being posted as an IAS. He joined as an assistant collector in Hoshangabad district of Madhya Pradesh only in May 2012.
No media reports have so far managed to get any comment from the IAS officer.
