DoPT nominates 26 officers for urban management programme in Singapore

INDIAN government’s Department of Personnel and Training, or DoPT, has nominated 26 officers to attend a programme on “Urban Management and Public Service Delivery” at the Lee Kuan Yew School in Singapore from March 17 to 25, 2011.
Established in 2004, the LKY School of Public Policy educates the next generation of Asian policymakers and leaders. Based in Singapore, a neutral observation ground to witness the historic rise of Asia, the LKY School is rated very high in training public servants. The selected officers are from various states including Uttarakhand, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Delhi and Maharashtra to name a few.
