THE Central government has relaxed its policy to extend the central deputation tenure of Ishita Roy, a 1991 batch Kerala cadre IAS officer and joint secretary in the department of higher education, for a period till June 30, 2019, “beyond the approved combined tenure of seven years up to 01.09.2018, in relaxation of the policy”.
