ON THE 71st Independence Day, IAS officers belonging to Telangana cadre were given Telangana Excellence (TEX) Awards-2017, the first of its kind initiative by a state government to recognize achievements by the officers belonging to All India Services. Altogether 16 civil servants including one Indian Forest Service and 2 IPS officers were awarded, according to reports. Here below are the details of some of the awardees:

India’s 29th state Telangana is born. Full list of Telangana cadre IAS
INDIA’S 29th state Telangana is finally born. And so is Telangana cadre IAS. These 44 Andhra Pradesh cadre IAS will now be Telanga cadre IAS with effect from June 2, 2014. These are however provisional allocation of cadre, and there could be some changes later. Telangana cadre IAS officers include two 1980 batch IAS, D Lakshmi P Bhaskar and Aswini Kumar Panda, who are the senior most in the list of officers. The full list of 44 Telangana cadre IAS is as follows:

163 IAS, 112 IPS, 65 IFoS proposed for newly created state of Telangana
INDIA’s newly created state of Telangana will be manned by 163 IAS, 112 IPS and 65 officers belonging to Indian Forest Service (IFoS), if former Central Vigilance Commissioner (CVC) Pratyush Sinha-headed panel’s recommendations are accepted as it is.
