THE Centre on Monday issued appointment orders of several officers, mainly at the rank of joint secretary to Government of India. The appointments included Kerala cadre IAS Gyanesh Kumar as joint secretary in MHA and lateral shifting of UP cadre IAS Alok Tandon from the department of financial services to the cabinet secretariat. But the highlight of the orders issued on Monday was the appointment of two Indian Telecom Service officers as directors in higher education department under the ministry of human resources development (HRD).
