24 senior IIS officers transferred; reshuffle in DD (News), All India Radio, DAVP et al
IN A major administrative reshuffle in various organisations under the ministry of information and broadcasting on Friday, as many as 24 senior Indian Information Service (IIS) officers were transferred — the clear trend being the sending of some officers out of Delhi and bringing back others to New Delhi. All the officers are of the rank of director generals (DGs) and additional director generals (ADG) — the senior most positions in the IIS hierarchy. Here are the details of each of the 24 postings:

7 Indian Information Service officers promoted; to get HAG scale now; Full List
AS MANY AS seven Assistant Director General-ranked officers belonging to Indian Information Service (IIS) were on Friday promoted to the HAG pay scale, i.e. the scale of a GoI additional secretaries or DG in IIS hierarchy.
