Action and Appointments: Govt okays cadre change, inter-cadre deputations

THE government has recently approved a number of cases relating to cadre change and inter-cadre deputation of IAS and IPS officers on personal grounds. Bhaskar Jyoti Sarma, a 1999 batch Orissa cadre IAS and his wife Mrs Shubha Sarma, also a 1999 batch Orissa cadre IAS will move from Odisha cadre to Assam segment of Assam-Meghalaya joint cadre, for a period up to April 25, 2015, in relaxation of the requisite “cooling-off” period.
